I recently returned from a couple of weeks on the West Coast, including a tour of the Okanagan and Similkameen Valleys. There are well over 200 wineries in the region now and the total continues to grow. I will be writing more on the remarkable evolution of BC wines over the next couple of postings.
For now, though, a quick bulletin on two fine recent listings at the NSLC from central Italy’s Marches region and a “Heads Up” on Cristall Wine Merchants inventory sale which ends tomorrow, October 4th.

NOTE: There are still some terrific bargains to be had, especially in the better wines category in Cristall Wine Merchants big inventory sale.
Look especially for some good deals on Burgundies. The benchmark Beaujolais from the highly respected producer J.P. Brun are terrific wines. J.P. Brun Morgan is selling at a 29% discount ($21.56 + tax & bottle deposit) and the Moulin à Vent at 27% off ($23.29 + tax & bottle deposit). Brun’s white Beaujolais, Beaujolais Blanc Fut (Oak Aged) is also a great buy at 33% off $21.56 + tax & bottle deposit).
